Scottish Elises

Well after deliberating over, what to replace my current E63 with I looked at RS6's , CLS shooting brakes, and even G wagons. And after all that looking what did I end up buying ........... Another E63!!

So due to pick this up next week , It's a 2011 E63 wagon with nice low mileage and a decent spec. Still not sure about the colour but sure I will be able to live with it

Love the understated nature of E63's and first thing I will be doing when I get it will be de badging it.

I've always had a like for the E class estate. Must be a blast with the big V8 in it.

Out of interest, what put you off the shooting brake?
I had a look at one recently and I was quite taken by it. The AMG version is lovely.

Loved the shooting brake , but budget would only stretch to the cls350cdi, which as nice as it was just felt way way to slow compared to my current E63. Edinburgh mercedes have a lovely black 63 shooting brake in the showroom but its close to £100k !!!
