Top Gear Season 20 30/6/13

Post by C7Steve » Sun Jun 30, 2013 7:23 am

Top Gear returns tonight.

I wonder if the V6 will feature at some point?

I maybe an old fart, but that was about as bad as it gets.

I thought it was funnier than the entire last season ?
Not much about cars though
Unfortunately, i'm not qualified to comment on the validity of tut being an old fart ....

Tut, you are an old Fart!

I enjoyed it, although the SITRPC bit was rather boring.

I enjoyed it :D

I did think Hammond was taking the mikey with hisenthusiasm for the hot hatch numbers... Who goes 'plenty' about 200 bhp and 200 lb/ft thesedays?

I was looking forward to the hot hatch shoot out but for me hot hatches aren't what they used to be in that price bracket. The Clio had some cool features in the cabin but overall I think they're pretty boring these days. As for Top Gear as a whole, I lost interest half way through!

I quite enjoyed that, nothing much else on worth watching anyway.

Thought that sail boat journey looked pretty uncomfortable.

Always watch it in hope of something genuinely interesting - there's always a good 3 or 4 segments a series that are worth the pain of the rest of it. Last night's show did not contain any of those segments.

FWIW, Clarkson essentially apologised for the weakness of last night's show in a tweet this morning... Promised some gems coming up.

Was all fairly predictable, hence cringeworthy.

Cheap TV, if they don't make anymore effort. But there is the F12 v Sleeper from Inverness to Euston ( was in the mag ) - through the Lecht 8) still to come

Agreed, but I'd not kick Joss Stone outta bed for farting.

F*cking up the hire car was childish crap...
