Thoughts on this Elise?

Post by craigs135s » Tue Jun 25, 2013 8:53 pm

Hi folks

I am interested to hear your thoughts on this Honda Elise? What do you think of the spec etc? What would be a fair price?

The spec is excellent, looks a lovely car, if I was in the market for one I would be bidding on it.

I would happily pay £14-£15K.

ps:- just bid £13,200 to test the water, but someone has a higher bid sitting there or is using a robot.

Just checked the bidding and n***- is using an auto bid system which will immediately bid £100 higher until it reaches his limit.

Yeah it does look good. Does anyone know anyone in Crewe that could view it for me?

Cheers

I honestly would not worry about viewing it, go by the spec and the fact that it is in immaculate condition, and also that he is a member of a Lotus Forum. It is going to sell and probably at a premium as there are very few coming up now. I bought all three of my Elises unseen and they were exactly as described, and I knew f****all about them in those days.

Ask him for a couple of photos of the engine and interior. Set a price that you are prepared to pay, if you really want it then be prepared to bid £500 above that in the last couple of minutes, not now, as you have no idea what the autobot has set his limit at.

Different wheels though than in the advert.

Not my favourite bloke, it was he and his mate that screwed me from buying N1 TUT back. He offered to bid for me so knew my top price, then overbid it and got her for himself.
