Free Track Time! EACC Kames Open Day 6 & 7th July.

Post by woody » Mon Jun 17, 2013 10:22 pm

East Ayrshire Car Club are holding open days for the public over the weekend of 6th & 7th July. I was asked at the weekend if I can get half a dozen Elises/Exiges/VX220s/2-11s/Evoras etc.. over the July open weekend for static display and track time at Kames. Will need to double check, but I'm sure for insurance purposes you'll have to be a member of EACC to use the track (£20 per year). Also, Events at Kames now have a noise limit of 105db and all cars must meet this limit to be allowed on track.

I'll most likely be there, please post names below as usual:

Mods, please feel free to move if required. Posted here as it's not stricktly a track-day.

I could maybe do the Sunday if you don't mind a S2000?

(that's why I think Mike will do fine, that and his lack of imagination).

How about a 996 c2?

I don't know driving in another way which isn't risky. Each one has to improve himself. Each driver has its limit. My limit is a little bit further than other's.

Not sure Mass. To be honest, I need to confirm a few more details about the event over the next couple of days as it's not just a normal kames day.

Can all who are going clarify which day they intend to go on or if it's both days you're going please.

More info tonight, eacc can be slow to respond as everything has to go through the monthly committee meeting. Just called; it's on now.
