New Shed 2002 Audi A3 Tdi Quattro Sport

Post by Jacobite » Fri May 31, 2013 12:58 am

After owning my Mk3 VW Golf for just over 2 years 4 month's on my daily commute Edinburgh~ St Andrews And adding 47,000 onto the Golf bringing it up to 190,000 on a wee 1.4 petrol tin worm and a pesky airbag light put paid to a new MOT, during the same period I've also put 17,00 miles on Lachies Focus in the equivelent of 5 month and putting 9,000 miles on the Lotus in just a few months (it would have been rude not to as it was only £1.50/day more in fuel than the Golf )

I've bought a new shed although it has to be the best shed I've owned ~ needs a little TLC a good service and a deep deep clean ~previous lady owner of 8 years carried her cats in the car ~but she looked after the car and it wanted for nothing full Audi main service history or VW Specialist For the interim services but for its 197,000 miles its had cambelt and clutch done in the last 6 months battery less than a year ago, rear discs in the past 18 months and 4 new matching tyres
for £1350

Impressive options list ontop of the 2002 £20,090.00 otr price
£1180 full leather
£107 center arm rest
£160 factory fit 17" alloys 225/45/zr17 tyres over the Quattros std 16"
£435 optional pearl effect paint
£220 headlamp washers
£107 Vavona wood inlay center console
£87 three point rear center seat belt
£500 bose 5 speaker sound system
£400 6 disc CD auto changer
Genuine Audi ft + rear mudflaps
Carpet Floor Matts

Nice.

Did you feed the ducks whilst at the services :-)

No doubt good for another 150K miles ...

Cheers,

Elaine had an S3 before the Elise and that was a great car. Felt like it'd survive a nuke strike - good call :thumbsup

Looks in good condition, and nice spec :thumbsup ...(although the wooden bits are a bit questionable).

No I'd been up since 7 getting the train down to Coventry amd it was after 10pm so I just wanted to get up the road and home
loving it so far and even the 45Mpg is more than the golf was giving me

You need to get out more :-) There are actual ducks that you can feed at those services whilst keeping genitals in trousers :-)

Oh I've managed to feed the ducks with my trousers on before, and there was no bread involved :thumbsup
