Scottish Elises

I'm prepping my Buell to sell it. It has a coloured perspex cover where you'd expect the fuel tank to be. The perspex has light scratching on it from everyday use, nothing particularly deep.

Just wondered if anyone has experience of polishing perspex and could advise the best way to go about removing or reducing the scratches, pilots maybe?

Should come up nicely with a rotary or DA polisher. I did the headlight and taillight covers on the cars and they came up great. Same polishing process as paint, although double check that it's solid coloured perspex and not a coating that will come off. Get the part off the bike if you can too as polishers aren't easy to handle for beginners.

A lot of Porsche owners have a similar issue with the rear perspex lenses looking a little bit tatty with age (mostly 964/993 variants).
