Missed it, but just got the last lap on 4+1, which was very eventful with Plato taking pride of place.

Good save by Shedden on the first lap, although I suspect there was a little tap from Plato to help him on his way.
It looked like he was making a good recovery through the pack until his was forced to make an excursion on the grass.

Hope some of you watched the third race.

Farcical situation, Gordon was disqualified after coming second in race two, because his ride height was under regs at the end of the race. It was obviously fine at the start, but he was run wide and caught his spoiler which must have reduced the ride height. How the hell can he have any control over that, and it is obviously not going to improve his aerodynamics.

Do any of the officials actually look at real time situations, or just refer to the book?

Rant over, he started from the back of the grid but of course had to carry the 27kg weight penalty for coming 2nd, work that one out, carved his way through the field, and finished 2nd by .08 secs behind Matt.

Yep, 3rd race was awesome, a proper champions drive (as was the 2nd race for that matter!).
I don't understand why the ballast wasn't removed as the 2nd place obviously was.
Don't really see how a couple of mm in ride height could give that level of performance difference with a Honda Civic either really, but I suppose it's simply a case of thems are the rules.

Still, looking like a great start for Gordon, hopefully a sign of things to come :D
