Definitely Brian's old car, only one character different registration number to mine. I think the second owner was also on here?

I sold Brian's Exige for Linda to Chris G in March 2010. His last posts were in June 2011 when he sold it to finance his wedding.

If he looked after it the way that Brian did, it would have been an excellent car still when he sold it, but I do not know its history since. It is possible that Craig would if it stayed up here.

It is advertised for sale at the same price that Chris paid three years ago. However some of the details are wrong in the advert, it is 187hp not 141 as it is the Toyota engine.

Noticed that car. Looks nice & hasn't depreciated in the last coiuple of years.

Tut, PH seems to always list the Toyota cars as 141bhp for some reason, must be an error in their data.

It was indeed me that had the car and as Tut mentioned I had to sell the car to finance a wedding :(

I had the car for about a year and a half up in Aberdeen and it lived in my garage all of it's life and was basically polished and driven on a Sunday! My mum also made a fitted car cover which I see was sold with the car as well!!!!

I had it on the track once at knockhill but it wasn't for me! I can honestly say that it was never thrashed when owned it.

The following has been added to the car since I had it:

Stage one exhaust
Carbone Lorraine (CL) RC5+ front brake pads
Hurricane 4300K HID kit (front dip-beam)
Ultraleds Ultra White Xenon side lights

Think I sold it with 24k on the clock.

I was well aware that the car had been on the track a good few time with Brian when I bought it - however I checked the car over thouroughly when I bought it. the car was straight and faultless mechaniclly when I owned it.

The only three issue were that the rear clam was starred at the back right where something had been rolling about inside the boot and the rear alloy was kerbed fairly badly. The final issue was the passenger side wing mirror had been replaced before i bought it and was not painted to match the magnetic blue paint scheme.

I had the car serviced at Murrays with the oil's which are listed on the advert.

It was a great car and I would have another but I am now saving for a baby which my wife is due to drop in May!! Looks like my Lotus days are still a fair bit off just now!

Cheers

Chris G
