Porsche Wheel Loan?

Just wondering if anyone has a spare set of Porker wheels kicking around that I could borrow for a few days for the 996.
Just need something to sit the car on whilst mine go away for a refurb. Don't intend to run the car on them but it would be nice to keep it rolling if I need to shift it... rather than have it block up the drive on axel stands.
About to start calling scrappies to see if I can 'hire' a set for a week... but just thought I'd ask here too!
Cheeers!!
Dave.

The wheel re-furbers here (used to anyway) offer the chance to leave the car while they did the wheels. Or you could leave it at mine. The neighbours get concerned if I go a whole month without something on axle stands.

Wheel refurb place I used in Ek did either 1 wheel at a time for £50 each, or you could leave the car with them and they would do them all at once for (I think) £240

I've been trawling the detailing forums and other places to check out most of the wheel refurb places in Central Scotland.
Only 1 place gets positive reviews every single time so that's where I'm going! Too many horror stories about virtually every other place.
The only negative is he needs the wheels off the car.
Cheers!

I would be removing my winter wheels and tyres from my 997 in the next few weeks. You would have been welcome to borrow, but they are located in ABZ, and crucially i have no idea whether they would fit. My car is a 2010 Gen2 C2. Its the 18 inch wheels thats got the winters on them.

I'd recommend getting it done up in Aberdeen, at the places i got the Audi wheels done.

Willie is a top bloke, 24hr turn around so no need for spare wheels, and an absolutely fantastic job done on all 5 wheels i had done. PM me if you want his e-mail address....
Seems like there is a location in Glasgow, but why not tie it in with the Whisky meet?!

I had looked at that place in EK, but if you check out some of the pics on Detailing world ... there's a worrying number of people putting up pics of badly done wheels from there.
Some positive ones... but lots and lots of negatives.
They don't seem to be very consistent!

I got 2 sets of wheels done there last year and was pleased with their service for both, probably be taking the Europa wheels there to get them done before I take the winter wheels off.
