George,

Remember that trailer I borrowed off you about ten years ago?

Well, Murray and I are finished with it now.

When will you come round to collect it?

Oh god I have that trailer's twin sitting in the front garden underneath the Rhododendrons... I should probably look underneath it...

No, my advice is just to leave it where it is. It'll completely decompose before too long.

Cheers,

Eric :)

Another very similar one hiding at my folks as well, this doesn't give me much confidence for its future!

Eric,
Just when I was needing it back for skip runs to clear up the house and garden ahead of impending house sale (moving into Bankry).
Good to see it has had a long and useful life though.

Aye, Saturday was it's last outing for ever. A sad day.

My plan was to use it to transport my OMS chassis to the dump ... now I have a one wheeled trailer to get there too.

Murray and I will be taking a grinder to it one evening this week. I'll say a wee prayer for you.

I can remember taking it away from your place all those years ago and your missus being delighted.

I often wondered when you would ask for it back as it was most definately a loan ... in your head ... I'm not too sure about your missus.

It led a rich life though, visiting most every household recycling centre in the North East. Its also transported a huge and varied selection of automotive tat.

Rest in pieces our wee trailer pal.

Cheers,

Eric :)

Why don't you buy a new trailer for your skip runs? When you're done with the house move, you can lend it to me.

That'd work.

Let me know when I can pick it up and I'll buy you a Guinness in The Stag.

Cheers,

Eric :)
