Where to eat in Aberdeen

Post by flyingscot68 » Tue Feb 26, 2013 12:05 pm

I'll be in Aberdeen with my wife last weekend in March to do a wedding show.

Looking for somehwere nice to go for dinner on the Saturday night, been about ten years since I was last working up there.
Any reccomendations?? My wife is vegetarian so needs to cater for non horse eaters.

Also, we've got some complimentary tickets for the show, if anyone is going and wants free entry drop me a PM. It's the Dream Wedding Scotland Show 30/31st at The Music Hall, Union Street.

:cheers

I like Cafe 52 on The Green for a nice cosy dinner. Should have at least two vegetarian choices per course on the menu.

Handy for the station and there's a Jurys Inn there too.

Could easily be combined with cinema or shopping at Union Square.

An apéritif in The Old Kings Highway (no apostrophe) could be a possibility.

Do book Cafe 52 but if stuck, Bistro Verde is in the same square (The Green) and it's ok. Also Musa is close by. Lots of people rave about it but I think it's "up itself".

If you have time on your hands in that area, The Maritime Museum is good.

I hope you have a nice time in Aberdeen and you're both made to feel very welcome. :)

Cheers,

Eric :)

Just booked the one down at the beach, Double Tree.

It's a bit old and tired looking. I think the one at the beach is better.

See you've already booked but if you have a second night then moon fish is pretty good

And if you fancy a drink then the Grill on Union Street is legendary (if you like a dram)
