A guy over on SELOC posted the video, the car had been lent to him by Bell and Colvill for the purpose of writing an article, the video was part of the article.Dominic wrote: Don't get the point of posting that video at all - the guy can't drive. It is nice to hear the engine note again.

In terms of speed, I'm guessing you're reading the increments wrong. Top speed in there is about 80mph (naughty I know) and most of it is pretty much dead on 60mph - as you say posting video of yourself driving around at 100mph+ on the public road isn't a smart idea. It was also the only Exige V6 demo car in the country at the time and I'd been trusted with it for an afternoon unsupervised and I was quite keen to return it to them in one piece, so excuse me if I wasn't blatting down country lanes fast enough.Kinger wrote:Mmmmmm, fancy not blanking your reg no when you upload a clip on Youtube that could loose you your License. Looks like the speedo is reading over the ton at times. Could that be used to convict ones self ???????
Unfortunately the quality isn't great as people have said in car and that was my own fault. The opening shots were from my Canon EOS 5D Mk3, but obviously that's a bit big and heavy to mount in car so the rest was shot on my Canon Powershot S100. Their were two major issues with this though.Rag_It wrote:B&C should have paid for someone with decent equipment and some kind of driving ability me thinks....

I'm certainly no driving god but that's a little harsh, I like to think I'm competent behind the wheel. I've posted a couple on track videos from my Elise S1 (118bhp, KU31 tyres, standard Koni's in the first video, Gaz Gold Pros in the second) from my first two track outings below if you fancy telling me where I'm going wrong.Dominic wrote:What a twunt! Thanks for the welcome, was a little worried I might get a frosty reception.C7Steve wrote:Thorburn,
Thanks for coming on here and putting your points across.![]()
Do you think that you can 'borrow the car again' fit the Gopro and find some quiet twisty roads and make another little film?
Keep the lens away from pointing at the speedometer and show us how it's done![]()
Steve.
Ps. Welcome by the way, and I am sure that a few boys on here are a little bit miffed that you had the car out for a little run all to yourself.
Your welcome. We are a friendly bunch on herethorburn wrote:Thanks for the welcome, was a little worried I might get a frosty reception.
