Find the Old Post Office or Grieves Cottage in Arnisdale. May well be booked by now mind you...

We stayed here for a week in November 2010:

Amazing views from the garden over Loch Duich and the Five Sisters of Kintail; wood burning stove, lochside walks etc etc

Lots of great ones on the whole site. Looking again for one right now!

How far north is north?! West coast do? http://www.tighbanlek.co.uk/ we stayed there for a weekend and it was fantastic. Amazing views, two or three decent pubs reasonably close with food and the house has everything you could
Need. Booked through holiday lettings . Co.uk which is the trip advisor self catering site, has loads of others so sure you'll find something.

I stayed here and really enjoyed the peace. http://ardmair.com/lodges.html
Near Ullapool for supplies and Achmelvich and Clachtoll beaches.

Nice part of the world, that. Stayed in nearby lodges many years back...pass through regularly en route to Achmelvich :-)

What a small world. My fathers family had a croft at strontian. It must just be a few doors down. It was sold a few years and a new house build in it's place. I always had a soft spot for strontian.
