AA cover

Post by GRAHAM » Thu Jul 05, 2012 7:20 pm

How quickly does the aa cover start? I did have it but let it run out! Now my jag front spring has collapsed, so need to get it lifted to a garage. Wife has cover supposedly through the police, via green flag but phoned them up and not found :(

14 days from taking it out before you can make a claim for P&L.

Not sure about recovery as to whether it is the same, or next day. Either way you need to call out the AA to where the car broke down, you can not take it anywhere else until they have checked it out.

They ask if you are in a breakdown situation when you take out or upgrade cover, I assume if your honest it will cost you but I dont see them refusing to start a policy & they can't prove it hasn't just happened if you phone back 5 minutes later to use the service
