Reverie are absolute ripoffs, eliseparts do a bit...but are there any others that supply CF parts both interior and exterior for the S1 elise?

I've been semi-tempted to ordering the carbon fibre material and resins and having a go at making a rear diffuser myself! Most likely I'd cock it up but its one of the easier shapes to make.

I quite fancy a 111s style diffuser, with the extra 'wings' one complaint I'd have about the elise is its stability at high speed - thought it might help slightly? Also re: cf, it would be a fair bit lighter, aesthetically pleasing and I don't really intend to get so airborne that I'll be crashing down on it! :)

edited to say: It would also be a learning experience of carbon fibre part making!

The diffusers on Elises are mostly for show, it needs to be a hell of a lot closer to the ground to create any sort of downforce. Unless you're gonna go the whole hog and get a CF body, you'll not save any weight that you'll notice.

The 111s diffuser *looks* like it would have more lateral stability at high speeds. I am of course basing this on nothing. :) carbon clams would be pretty damn cool and pretty damn expensive. I was thinking of gradually carboning a few parts, regarding weighting saving.

Im sure I read something about how the venturi effect only takes place if your under three inches from the ground. But you canny help but respect a CF diffuser. It may be useless but it certainly looks the monkeys maracas.
