ParcelForce have a quoter thing on their website if you give them dimensions and weight. They will let you pay for it online with a card and come and collect it form you too, all without an account. Handy.

I use Parcels2Go a fair bit, and they are both cheap and reliable.

Close, it's a mk2 Escort that I am using as a donor for a Locost.

What are your plans for the Locost Simon, when it is finished?

Must be the perspective, looks a bit wedgy at the front.
Mid a 1.3 engined Locost would be a beast

And you wouldn't take teh engine out of an HSR that would be a crime (for many reasons).

I would like to race it in the 750mc Locost series, hence the puny 1300 engine. They have a very very restrictive set of regulations designed to give you a reasonable chance of having a competitive car without spending a fortune on engine mods.
The Elise isn't getting sold

far too attached to that.

Pleased to hear that you are not going to do anything silly with the Elise.
What is the crack with the Locost series regarding circuits? Is there a Scottish series or is it UK wide?

Been a few that reckon I'm committing a crime now
I'm sure someone will buy the (really rather good but 4 door) shell, put a Pinto in it and turn it into yet another Mexico replica.

England only sadly - the 2006 circuits are: Mallory Park, Brands Hatch, Snetterton, Cadwell Park, Thruxton, Lydden Hill, Silverstone and Donnington.
I haven't driven any of those circuits

I was sure they did Oulton Park at one point, perhaps just not this year.
