So I am on a diet.

Decided that I am not going to play at it this time, or do the new years resolution crap. Have spent a bit of time for the first time in my life actually looking to see what calories are in food. Do you know what has loads of calories?
Everything I f**king like! Well it’s not that bad, can still have meat which is a relief, probably need to cut down on carbs which will be a pain because I like rice and bread, what can I have with curry if I don’t have rice or bread?
I also worked out it eat nearly 2500 calories worth of crisps in a week,

I don’t drink during the week but do drink too much at weekends so now limited to vodka & diet irn bru and try to not get steamboats. Cutting out snacks and most unhealthy food wont be that hard, but the booze is addicted to me so that might be a struggle.
Cycled to work this morning, last bit up the hill was a pain, looking forward to getting over the initial utter lack of fitness, plan to do this at least 2-3 times a week when I don’t need the car, plus at least 10mins a day doing weights and gradually build up the time on those sessions.
I plan to completely change my diet and just not have anything in the house to tempt me off it, so thoughts on healthy and interesting meals would be good. I like cooking but probably need to look into some healthier options.
So any advice, motivation, encouragement welcome.
