Might be looking to get an Elise and found this one close by. Anybody owned this before? Seems quite a rare colour.

Don't know the car I'm afraid but it's been there for a while. It was originally put up with a photo of an interior from a Land Rover which got a few giggles.
Seems pricey for a standard car with that mileage. For that money you may find going for a 111s privately gets you a much better car. If its a standard car your after and , possibly more importantly, a dealer warranty then it cant be bad but you may be able to get the price down a bit.
Are you in Aberdeen?

Yeah I know he has had it since last year. Ive had no joy getting rid of my S4 so probably going to have to trade it in and its about the only one at a garage up here. There one at Murrays but its quite high mileage.

I don't know the car in any detail but I had seen it around Dyce a few times over a couple of years before it was in Gordon Reid. It looked like a middle-aged gentleman driving who was always taking it easy.
As others have said, it does look quite pricey and it has been for sale for a while.
It's probably "the only one in Scotland" in that colour

I saw one that colour in Asda Bridge of Don a couple of weeks ago...... No idea if it was the same car or not. Hadn't seen one that colour before.

Probably the same car, the guy has been using it he said. Price wise its not too bad if you look at some other at dealer with that mileage. Should it be due any big jobs soon like timing belts etc? I spoke to him and he said it had some upgrade radiator that should never need replaced. Sounds like BS to me.

Sounds like you need someone to have a look over it for you if you're interested in it. There are quite a few people locally that would probably do it.
I would offer because I'm just round the corner but the extent of my mechanical knowledge would be that I could confirm that it's an Elise and it's green.

To be honest Im quite savvy with the mechanicals on cars, I do most of my own work on them and have done for the last 10years or so, mostly VW's though. I suppose I need Elise specifc parts to watch for. I think I asked this question before so I'll have a look through my old posts. Still undecided what to do TBH. Been running two cars for the last couple of years but might just go back to one in which case the Elise would not be on.

Possibly a high capacity aluminium radiator, in which case it's not really BS.
Just mp 2p

Radiator going is a common fault - ergo upgraded replacement is too
