taped it so I could spend the afternoon with the kids...

SE2 / SELOC / BBC1 News / Radio all blew the whistle.

Normally I'm like Simon - fall asleep mid-race and catch the last 6 laps

Never mind - well done Jens.

Not if what I read in the TImes is true, all major manufacturers looking to boycott if new engine regs are brought in, essentially the 2008 season would have to be run on this years engines as they are now. ie Renault and Ferrari best with the others trailing and Honda a long way behind. They can continue to develop engines until them but the clock will be turned back come 2008... Its suposed to encorage privateers again FFS....

I almost did not bother watching it, just out the tv on during lunch, and ended up watching the entire race. Shocker: it was entertaining

Anthony Davidson makes for a good comentator. Him and Brundle would make a far better team than Brundle and the cock that is James Allan! :x

t'was a fantastic way to spend a hungover afternoon - cracking racing, great strategies, and some fabulous action from the c0ck, "oh my word, they've failed to tighten the wheelnut on Alonso's right rear!.... ooh, sorry, driveshaft failure." Kimi shunt was spectacular too, all taken very well by both involved.

loved Button's win, would have been far sweeter had Alonso and Schumacher finished I'm sure :) Good thing is, you know he'll have gone out and got ratted rather than spent the evening on the orange juice :D

Schumacher was 9th, and Button flew to China after the race apparently

Best GP for ages. Never been much of a Button fan - all that nonsense about wanting to moving to Williams, then wanting to stay at Honda made him look a petulant dork - but he drove brilliantly yesterday and thoroughly deserved the victory. Nice to see De La Rosa getting 2nd too. He was actually closing Raikonen down before Kimi crashed out. Shame all GPs aren't wet - really sorts out the talanted from the mediocre (Massa take note....)

Schumy got 8th - the 8th place guy got disqualified for being underweight.

Made great watching for a change, but unfortunately it is probably a one off at the present for Button.

The podium read Button, de la Rosa, and Heidfeld, a far cry from the usual line up because of the conditions and the attrition.

However he won from 15th position, was going to beat Alonso anyway, and is great for him and the team. Just hope that he can repeat it in the dry.

Jenson's smooth driving style must have come into its own in the wet
