Nipped in to Ocean Terminal yesterday as I had persuaded Linda that, as it's her birthday soon, that it would be a good idea to upgrade her 1st Gen Nano. I had my eye on a Cowon J3 for her, but she eventually went for the i9 (apparently size is everything, and fortunately for me she likes small 
)
Result!!! I can get rid of iTunes.
Earbuds were the next problem, as they don't stay in her ears, and she wouldn't wear over the ear types (it's an image thing). With the multitude of foam tips, and a pair of over the ear hooks, a good compromise has been made.
Anyway, would you pass on my thanks to the guy that served us yesterday, for his knowledge, professionalism and above all patience
