....but now I am not. The bodyshop called me (after spinning me some lies this morning) and told me that "when we were refitting the clamshell we smashed the front windscreen"....... Way to go dudes!

How to fill me with confidence. I demanded a courtesy car, and me and a mate are heading to London in it.... Get that right up you!

garages are great!!!

you should also demand all the bits theyhave left over that they're not really sure where those little bolts go! as we both know there will be a good few "extra" bits!!

i'll look out for your car being joyridden about glasgow this weekend!

i put my car into budget once to get a couple of tyres fitted - was told to come back in half an hour as they were busy. so i foolishly left the car and keys as it was up on a ramp and went to get a coffee - 5 minutes later.... my car drives past at about 50mph!

needless to say i called the police :)

Its sh*t.

I called them at 10am, to ask when to collect it.

"Oh we are waiting on a bracket for the foglamp....."

I went nippy and told them I wanted a car, she put me on hold.

5 mins later and the part had come in! Do they think I am stupid!?

Then they tell me this. When I go up to collect the courtesy car, im going to go wander through the buildings and find my damn car!

Thtas the thing - they have been pretty good so far.

I'll wait until I see the end result. TBH I dont mind a few days delay if the end result is spot on.

If I go pick up the car and the front is nearer titty than new ali then I'll straight shame those foos'!

I just went up to pick up a courtesy car ( a 206 ) and had a look at mine -
fair play, they had done a (IMHO) great job on the old paintwork, and the gaps were fine.
