S2 Exige wheels fit on a K Series S2 with spacers. Those S2 wheels are on that S1 with adapters. So dont think so Greg, as that would be 2 kinds of adapters that would be needed to make them fit. I think the wheels as in that pic would look 8) on a black s1. £240 apparently for the kit.

Edited to add : if they are 111R wheels in that pic (dont know my wheels) then arent they the same as s2 exige wheels? So it would fit?

:scratch

So, £240 for the kit, plus the price of the wheels. Hmm, not cheap! There are a lot of people with S2s upgrading their wheels....

No.... must improve driving ability

must improve....

I actually thought that at £60 per corner it wasnt bad price wise; if you are buying wheels, its never going to be cheap.

there is a difference between 111s wheels and 111r/exige wheels, so check out which ones you have. The difference is due to some physical change they had to make to accomodate the abs system set-up i believe.

Worst comes to worst just get them powder coated black :)

£60 per corner all depends on your perspective. I prefer to think about it all-in, and £240 for 4 'adaptors' is a fcuckload of money :) I'm not averse to wasting money on pointless things (as my previous hobby proved), but I doubt I could justify that :(

wonder what it does to the handling..... bearing in mind that the S1 has 15/16 wheels on it and the S2 has 17s all round.... :?

Was there a genuine reason to fit smaller fronts or was it just that they got a job lot of mixed sizes when putting the S1s together ?!?!

S2 has 16 fronts and 17 rears.

I love S2 wheels, on an S2. Just don't think they fit the retro look of the S1...

...unlike these !!! :love :love

Combined with the shocking price of the wheel spacers  (can't Stu knock sum up? :)) I think it'll be a wee while before you see these on my car :( One day tho! ;)

Oh and surely wheels that big with anything other than original ride height would wear thro the clam??

I think S2 Exige wheels would actually fit better than the ones from a K-engined car.

S1 offset = 13mm,
spacer (if it;s the eliseparts one) = 25mm,
total = 38mm

front S2 (K or Toyota) offset = 32mm (so wheels will stick out 6mm further on an S1 with spacers.

rears a bit different!
S2 K-engined - offset = 18mm (so wheels will stick out 20mm further on an S1
S2 Toyota-engined (111R or Exige) offset = 38mm - perfect fit!
