Guys,
Just had Stew Robb on the phone from the tyre place.....they have broken his nut thing for taken off the wheel nuts on his Exige.
Is there anyone in the Aberdeen area that could lend him theirs to get the wheels back on please?
Or does anyone have a contact number for Neil?
Tried phoning Eric Kiltie but no answer......who else is there?
Thanks
Craig

Craig, if you mean for the locking wheel nuts, every tool is different for the S1, not sure about the S2.

If its just to get the wheels back on then any descent tyre place would have spare nuts lying around until he can get a new tool or set of locking nuts. The other thing he could do is just nurse it home on three bolts per wheel - would be ok for an easy drive along a short distance.

If they've snapped one, prepare for them to snap another cos it's made of cheese!

I'd save your money on the crappy tool and buy some normal bolts instead. I had to get the Lotus ones drilled out after snapping 3 of the spline tools so I just went for a set of normal bolts for about £20.

Just goes to show how secure these things are
Famous last words and all, but most cars come with alloys now, when's the last time you saw a car on bricks / a report of stolen wheels...?

What else do they fit on ? I am guessing nothing else so no point in stealing them

Knowing how difficult it is to drill them out
