I've used http://www.indespension.co.uk/ in the past they do car sized trailers. They have a branch on London Road in Edinburgh

What about Paul's beemer shed + trailer, maybe he could lend you both (if you agree to dispense of the car)

Neil,

I have a Brian James Minno which you are welcome to borrow but I'm not sure if your car would fit - It's Caterham sized and slightly too narrow to fit my S2 Elise onto - not sure if the S1 might be narrower :?:

See the trailer dimensions below -

Gross capacity 1380 Kg
Load capacity 1005 Kg
Body length 3.37m (11ft 0in)
Body width 1.65m (5ft 5in)
Overall length 4.57m (15ft 2in)
Overall width 2.03m (6ft 8in)

Let me know if it fits / you want to borrow it - it's out on loan at the moment but I could get it back if you need it.

Kevin

You are welcome to borrow my trailer. Fairly large, (fits E30 BMW with room to spare).

It's in Glasgow. It's a wee bit tatty, but is solid, & everything works.

Need a tow too? Subject to where to!

murrays are just not equipped to work on it. If i was cynical, i'd say its because they dont have a manual to follow word for word.

so getting it back down to sinclaires as its fully warranted etc etc. just wish i had got the AA to take it straight there in the first place, save a load of hassle.

Ermmm... tow it 2 miles down the road and say it's got a big hole in the gearbox and needs a truck. Job done. You must be getting near the call out limit by now though
