And it's local (to me).

(Casually looking for a winter shed to waste money on. If you happen across a cheap, mechanically sound hot hatch I'm your man. Quick before mrs pete spends it on the garden)

Everything. It's an Evo4 with an Evo6 engine ... that tells you all you need to know ;-)

Cheers,

I think he'll be wanting more than 3 grand. The IV engine was known to have crank walk and weaker rods so a VI engine in one is ideal. The usual stuff can go on them at any time depending on how hard you drive it. In no particular order, clutch, rear diff, AYC pump etc but other than that they are pretty reliable. :thumbsup

You can get a safe reliable 350bhp from them without much expense. :thumbsup

I like the list of swap offers at the bottom..

My mate was selling a Renaultsport Megane through Pistonheads and got offered a manner of stuff. My favourite was a Fireblade, then a "Sierra Cosworth and a really tidy Astra van" as a job lot - both offers from the same chap...

You're right I don't need an Evo...

I wouldnt buy a 4 no matter how cheap, they started to get the formula right from the 5 onwards.

If you are interested then maybe could pop along to see where the service record is for (should be specialist) and then give them a quick phone call to get the gen on the car.

Quite like that but for hose wheels which are rank... Hmm (voice in back ground shouts "WE DON'T NEED ANOTHER CAR!")...
