Thought I'd drag it back up

Myself - I've got nowt exciting planned that I know of - tinkering with the Elise on Sat, day with the good lady on Sun, which will probably involve watching the BGP somewhere.

So, I know there's some trackday action - anyone doing anything fun?

Nope, all on my ownsome and lacking enthusiasm. At least it is an F1 weekend, and Silverstone at that.

Weekend in Warwick with SWMBO doing all the touristy stuff like castles. I plan to suggest some lunchtime drinks on Sunday, then find a nice bar with a big TV, conveniently in time for the grand prix...

Tomorrow - pennance (decorating)
Sunday - golf then reclining in front of the British GP. Might also make an effort to remove the pigeon/pteradactyl excrement from the roof of the barge.

Tonight... haircut.

Sat, drop the kids off at Grandma's & dog at kennels.
Wee drive over towards Ayrshire.. get lunch somewhere en-route... staying overnight at the Belleisle House Hotel (apparantly just re-opened after refurbishment so expecting Faulty Towers like experience)... probably just get meal & drinks at the hotel... I'll stay away from the Waldorf Salad...

Sun, long lie in bed... lazy drive back east at some point later in the day to pick kids/dog up again. Watch F1 on Sky+... hopefully watch TG Sunday evening as well.

Andy.

Sunday.... Feck knows!
Arriving broadside, in a cloud of smoke......
