You have the Palace Hotel and the Waterside Inn in Peterhead, but if you travel the ten miles to Old Deer there is the Saplinbrae Hotel which would be my choice.

It's not very often you see the words Peterhead and recommended in the same sentence unless the word NOT is included in between :P

My shout would be to either head south back to Ellon or even better back into Aberdeen. The New Inn in Ellon has rooms and the bar has been recently done up although can't comment on the rooms. Ex-colleagues from Rolls-Royce stayed there a while back with no complaints. Much bigger/better choice in ABZ but probably not worth the effort of the commute for a Mon/Tue.

if you decide to stay in Ellon give me a PM and you can buy me a beer :) Oh and if you do go for Ellon avoid the Station some of our lads were in there a couple of weeks ago and didnt like it at all.

Oh aye Peterhead is about 20 minutes drive from Ellon
