Not a fuggin hope Simon - the thought of hauling 2 tonnes of Ingolstadt's finest from (guessing) 130+ for the hairpin gives me shivers

Whereas, amazingly, the Snot is still on its original front pads  - the benefits of light weight, eh? 8)

96 S6 Avant.. 110 before hitting the brakes for Duffus. 120ish before the hairpin. Had to steer left then right to get the back end out so it would go round the hairpin (swedish rally stylee)

Got it down to 67 sec laps. Not bad for a 2 ton lump that still had the dog guard in the back.

No brake fade though, The benifit of having four big pads per wheel at the front. Rode the curbs surprisingly well.

Lesley went ape, she thought I was just going to watch....

John, if you knew how much Audi Dundee relieved me of to supply & fit front discs & pads* on the RS 6, you'd understand why I have no plans whatsoever to track it

*Same as fitted to a Lambo Gallardo, apparently

From the subject of the thread, I thought it was going to be a lot more exciting than a discussion about Audi brakes
