Good programme, focuses to much on happy clappy phoney eco-mentalism rather than imaginative economical buildings but it's still a favourite on mine as well.

Wow, stunning building, all that for circa 500k, hard to believe.......

Bugger missed this (too busy watching the footy) managed to catch the SKY+ on C4+1 though I'll watch it later.
This is the only programme that me and the wife watch together

Were you watching a different programme, or did they show different ones in different regions? It was just over a million?! Thought it was fairly odd - the upstairs "Old" bit didnt look like a very well executed space, but the modern extension was cool apart from the tree inside.

I thought he said his budget was 1000 per metre squared and it was 440 in total. Plus the extra 10%.

Odd, you're not kidding, what about the window to spy into the guest bedroom? Didn't like the extension, I hate all this "contemporary" bollocks, for an office it's fine but for a home it's cold and sterile. They did a good job of taking away the nasty industrial look of the outside.
