I am being shamed into repainting the garage floor. Since my old MGB burst an oil hose, and a flood of Tory Canyon proportions covered the floor, the paint has started lifting, and it's getting worse.
Now I've no problem with repainting it, it's the removal of the old stuff that's the problem. The loose paint I'm lifting with a wallpaper scraper (you don't realise how big an area a garage floor is till you're on your hands and knees scraping away), but it's the areas where the paint is still firmly attached. Do I just leave these areas alone, and paint over the top, or is there some magic formula (other than old MGB sump oil) which will help lift it ready for repainting?
Garage Floor Paint (NLC)
I have seen these being used on site and at 40quid for a days hire makes life easier...

I am sure if you painted over the top it would not look as good as if you removed all paint and started again.
