Not a Lotus but....

How nice and good price! Are these things ridiculous to run? RMS seems to be their 'HGF' and all that? And then theres the whole 993s are better blah blah blah.

My ex's dad used to have one and it was beautiful, soared along, masses of torque (compared to anything I've felt of course) and the flat 6 makes such a distinctive and lovely noise!!

edit: Rope arrived today - thanks Rich! and yes sniffpetrol rocks!

<cough> 993s are better!

Thats a scary price for a 996, considering the cheapest LHD 993 C2 with 65k on the clock goes for that on PH!

I know nowt about them at all really to be honest, but if i were ever to go down the dark path to porkerdom, it would have to be a 993 (specifically a 993 Turbo <scans emoticon list for the dribble smiley>

sniffpetrol rocks indeed. I particularly enjoyed the article about mika hakkinen being interesting.

Everyone knows if youre going to buy a porker you need to get a co*kster. doesn't matter which variety or flavour. they are all equally cool.

Honest...
