Some of the early pass, pass, pass between them was fantastic, just a pity that Stoner could not stay on his bike.

That was one of the best races of any sort I have seen for a very very long time, make formula one look extremely boring

. Both of those guys were in a class of their own and were on the ragged edge the whole time. Stoner is a miserable git tho, you would have thought he would have taken his lucky 2nd place with a bit of grace, instead of moaning about Rossi's "Dangerous riding"

I don't know why but I've never taken to Stoner. What an excellent race, I thought Rossi had lost it at the corkscrew when he cut accross the dirt/gravel. That would've taken both of them out.
Feel sorry for Geordi Lorenzo, looked like a sore one.
Excellent qualifying for Toseland although he fell back a bit in the race.
Great Watching.

Why is Toseland bumbing about his team and the politics? what has that got to do with his bad results?

Best race I have ever seen. I couldn't believe it that Stoner was annoyed at Rossi for being aggressive. If he was so scared why did he not just back off? Both of them were overtaking on the outside of corners etc etc so he was just as responsible. One of the commentators said that Stoner may not have seen Rossi go off the track and back on due to the angle of the corkscrew, and prob just though Rossi was trying to muscle through.
Rossi rules Moto GP!!

Scotty,
Think it was more to do with Michelin's complete muck up. They brought the wrong type of rubber to the track (expecting it to be far hotter) and it meant that some michelin guys were running with cut intermediattes during the free practice so they only had 2 set of tyres that they could use i.e. one to set the bike up on and another for the race.
Not exactly ideal setting up the bike for the race on only one run.
Cheers
