I heard they couldn't, otherwise you'd see all the Ferrari main dealers selling their F430s for £160k?

I believe Ed is correct, I am sure we had thi svery chat with Graeme about the Astons.

A dealer has to stick to list price in terms of unregistered cars, but if MMC register it, then technically it is seocnd hand and they can then sell at whatever they desire.

I am not speaking gospel here, so don't shoot me down!

Tis true.

The first used Audi RS4s use to sell for more than list, similarly with the first BMW Mini Coopers and Subaru 22Bs to name but a few

There is a dealer of exotic marques down south (can't remember their name) who specialise in that type of car sales. Basically they buy and register them, whack a premium on top and sell them first come first serve without the 18 month wait.
