Why the one day of the year do i happen to be going to Manchester when 10,000 football fans also have to be going!

Apparently, Waverely is like a mini football ground and has been described as Carnage! Will soon find out!

If I don't come back alive it is because i picked a fight with the wrong person... The only upside being the client i am going to see has offered me his company Penthouse to stay in whilst I am down! :D

10,000 - I would think more like 100,000.

We are playing spot the Tim at work - dead easy, it's anyone sitting at their desks!

Yep, 100,000, so hope the chippies have stocked up ready for the thousands of deep fried mars bars.

ive got a few mates down there just now. the m74 southbound was lined with good luck banners on every flyover.

been following the forum on the bbc sport - quite amusing
Gers fans accusing celtic fans of not supporting scottish football then celtic fans coming back at them to say they support ROI ... blah blah blah

Albert Square in Manchester opened its bar at 10am and its reported to be doing good trade - surprise surprise :cheers

A slightly tainted observation, but noted some fans are taking a bizzare route - I saw quite a number of vans carrying the red hand flag - I would have though it easier if the had got the boat to England or at very least drove via Dumfries rather than coming all the way up to Glasgow before heading down the M74.

Am I missing something - I assumed they were from the provence

i know... its an absolute joke... its all that p*sh that ruins it IMO.
i just get really baffled by it all. i can understand the competitiveness of football and rival teams, but dont understand why these symbols and flags get drawn into it when the people that fly them probably dont have any idea why they're flying them...

anyway

With 100,000 of one half of the bigot twins supporters down south, this is a top ideal opportunity to rebuild hadrians wall!!

As a Partick Thistle supporter I am morally and intellectually superior to the old firm supporters and their bigotry.

This means that I can cheer on a Scottish team in Europe tonight without having to remove a chip from my shoulder :D
