Makes it easier for the plod to spot and I'd spend the £250 notes on something to make it go quicker....

My compromise (which I forgot on Sat) is to have a separate trackplate with my name on it and use the wonder of industrial velcro to swap them at the track....

I'll confess to having a private plate, but it was a present (apparently I'm difficult to buy for  ), its a cracking number and it was v cheap so thats ok !

However the above plate only really makes sense if its pushed together, S11 XGE does really look the same does it? A flash loud car, incorrect spacing and (probably) a 3/4 sized front plate is just begging to get pulled IMHO.

I will admit to occassionally hankering after a bit of anonymity though, you have no idea how often you'll get people coming up to you in work saying "I saw you the other day..." Although the GF does say at least I'll not be able to have an affair!

....did i ever tell you about the Evora and VX220 i used to own?

SE 51 MAC is still available from the DVLA guys, and has been since I got the car. Still priced at just under 1k (obviously market forces aren't at work here)

I'd love it but can think of so many "enhancements" that could be gotten for the same outlay.

Cheers

I'm not a fan of plates that are supposed to say something. And if you space them so they do look like a word your guaranteed to get pulled.

I was in a queue at traffic lights in Dundee today behind an Aston Martin DB7 .. Reg was RICK DB .. well.. it was really R10 KDB but cunning screw placement and spacing and it looked cool.
