Disappointed in you lot!

Thought there would be a plethora of p*ss taking on his recent antics!!

I hear that FIA are abolishing Crash Helmets and making Gimp Masks mandatory for next year.
Any teams found infringing rules will be given a good whipping ......

Never liked the guy and don't think he's done much for the 'sport'. He should be made to give Ron Dennis his money back or be fined the same amount for bringing Motorsport into disrepute with his extra curricular activities

Tabloid journalism at it's finest once again. Who cares how many lives they wreck as long as they get a day's increased circulation.

He's hardly the first man alive to pay for a bit of slap and tickle... Yesterday's news; todays chip-wrappers. Lives in tatters. The gutter-press should be lined up and shot.

No drugs involved either. At least Angus Deaton had the decency to get properly coked up first like real man!

Of course he will have been set up by the press, but there are a couple of scenarios here.

(a) He does this sort of thing a lot (thus it was easy to set him up), his wife knows about it and doesn't care, in which case the only damage done to him is that we all know a little more about his personal preferences than he would like; he's a public figure and you expect some of this and he's not immune to manipulating the media for (FIA) political gain himself, so all's fair in love and war.

(b) As above, but his wife didn't know/endorse it. Tough luck for him then - just another cheating barsteward that got caught.

(c) He has never done anything like this before and got caught first time. Fool - why on earth would he go along with it - such an obvious setup, and such a bizarre role play that you must struggle to believe it wasn't his bag all along.

Right. And you engaging in these activities has nothing to do with it. If she cares at all, I'm sure his wife's immediate thoughts won't be concerned with the press, but rather her wayward husband ...

I'm pretty much with Robin here.

If his wife knew, then who cares? It's not news. Don't tell his kids just to sell your filthy red-top papers.

If he does it all the time and his wife didn't know, then the press have no right to tell her (and his kids), and we have no right to judge. It shouldn't be news just because it'll sell papers. I think this is the most likely scenario.

Of course, I don't believe it was his first time; he was too relaxed with it all in the vids. I don't agree with Robin that it's a rare or specific scenario though; dominatrices have been doing the sexy gestapo officer for years... See pre-watershed episodes of Allo Allo for details.

Also, the press screaming "Nazi" is a bit much. Sure, he's a fascist (or his dad was), but that scenario is all about the power-play. He's not getting off on anti-semitism and invading Poland here... It's completely missing the point.

Dunno why I'm defending him. I just feel sorry for his kids and feel it's more the fault of the press that Max himself.

He probably wasnt getting any and even if he did who would want some. Should of got rid and got a little gold digger ages ago. At least then he wouldnt have to do what he did.
