The Downfall on channel 4 - Thu @ 9

Saw this film recently in the cinema. It's about the last few days of Hitler. I remember starting to watch it. I never realised it was in German with English subtitles and I wanted to walk out. Gave it 5 mins and forgot all about the sub titles. Brilliant film. IMO unmissable.

You shouldn't be put off by subtitles. Ever seen City Of God ??

Saw city of god for the first time the other night. Was fantastic.
Will definently try and remember about the Downfall. Cheers for the headsup G

The missus left downfall (in the pictures) after half an hour as she couldn't see the subs without her glasses, and i had to follow as i forgot to give her the car keys
Anyway, she got me it on DVD as soon as it was out.
City of God is possibly the best film i've ever seen
Maria full of Grace is another top recentish international film.
