would you trust these guy's to know where the jacking points on your elise were?

No. Last time I went in to Kwik Fit was with the smart and the guy asked me how to open the front bonnet to see the engine

You could always tell them where they are when you take the car in.
Whats it for? Tyres or tracking or something?

I always use Cooper Bros in wishaw - they are much more reliable IMHO

Ive used them in the past and they were ok, not with the elise/exige though

just needing a new tyre and not too sure where to head - i'm certainly not going to murray lotus tho - christ knows how much that would cost

Kwik fit are the mcdonalds of Mechanics. Last time I took a car there - the guy didn't have the right bracket but put one on that "would-hold-just-fine". Fell off about 2 days later, leaving me stranded.
Guy at kwik fit then tried to blame me telling me that he had called me to come in to get the correct bracket fitted!!!
To top it all off their customer service dept phone me to ask if i was 100% delighted with the service I had received. Told them where to go.
Oh and they were going to charge me £20 a tyre just to fit mine!
