Wings clipped and brought back down to Earth!

Well it is with regret to let you guys know I will be unable to fullfill by dream right now of owning a Lotus.

After numerous discussions with my best mate he has made me see sense and reduce my budget for a car. (pm me for his address and you can all pay him a visit  ) I started to get silly and my budjet shot from 7k to 9k and onwards. As he rightly pointed out the car will be sat in Aberdeen for two weeks. And only used occasionally for shopping as the Stang is my main car that I use at home. The Titanium one in Glasgow has been sold. I think even my parents breathed a sign of relief there as my dad likes to hoon about in my car's sometimes and trying to get two over 70's in a Lotus is out of the question.

I will still pop over and try and contribute if/when I can. Just gutted it won't be as an Elise owner.

Many thanks for making me feel welcome and the advice I have got from you all.

Hope to perhaps catch you on a run/trackday soon. :D

Restless nights unable to sleep and when you do sleep the first think in your mind when you wake before that first hand full of tranquilizers is MUST GET AN ELISE .

Not quite 70 yet, but surely two of me in my Elise would make it/us twice as good?

 Thanks guys. Will be down for a trackday again at some point when the weather get's better as I really enjoyed the last time (even if I was running with bad brakes)

Will also keep an eye open for runs.

Perhaps I might be able to entice some of you to a run I am organising in April?? Had one last year and was a great day out. Some might have done the route already.

Looks like our sort of roads. Presume that was the Applecross pass?

A few Elises would certainly add style and pace to the run...........

Keep us posted with details.
