On a scale of 1-5; how high would i rate on the stupidometer to buy my daughter an elise as a learner car?... :withstupid


Any advice would be genuinely appreciated.

Its a wise choice, probably rates infinity on your scale. Have you checked what the insurance will be on that? :lol:

Seriously though, not too good an idea.
Not exactly the smoothest car to drive and the 3 point turn would be a right fecker!

Got the cash and willing to stump up for insurance and "learner knocks" then go for it....brave brave man

Have to say i haven't yet considered insurance, will delay that shock :shock: until the decision about the car is more clear :lol:

I'd say 5.

Visibility aint too hot, can be lethal in the wet even if you do know what your doing , fiberglass clams wont take any bumps without cracking. No assistance on brakes, super responsive steering will mean she might be all over the road.

But i'd love to see the examiner trying to fold himself into the passenger seat on the test though :lol:

Learner, so I am assuming she is under 20? maybe 17-18?

Expect a quote around 5 grand mate :lol:

Yeah my dad refers to my mum as 'the bank' whenever I am stealing food from the fridge. Well good on you, reckon she will appreciate the motor.

Whats your budget, remember running cost wont be cheap for an older one, apperantly its know for Loti to break down now and again.
