Can you recommend an alternative to the Ipod?
I have the 60GB. Scroll has stopped working or at best jumpy.

how olds the ipod? Is it outwith the 1 year guarantee?

Return it under the sale of goods act, and it being no longer fit for purpose.

Yup, it is.
It's working OK again....
Ipod, easy use and software is great....
Build quality is shocking

the other thing that works well with them is ipod updater. You can download that from Apple.com, and it reset that operating system that should stop it crashing.
Battery life is brutal but I can get you a replacment battery kit for it if that becomes an issue.
