Was down in London Village last week, and spotted a 55 plate exige with a black soft top on it. Pretty odd, but quite sensible I guess if you want the best of both worlds in your exige! I'm guessing therefore that the standsrd S2 soft-top roof fits onto a s2 exige?

I think it does if you purchase the bracket kit to do it. From memory, I think there may be a hole or 2 that needs made to allow the brackets to be fixed also??
I've certainly heard of a few people that have done it

Yeah it is possible. Not too much involved as greg says. a few clips here and there and a special tool from halfrauds, and a soft top. Invalidates the warranty on the roof seal but it doesnt affect the structural rigigity at all. Mine, for the forseable future will be staying put.

Got a soft top for my Exige, but have only had the roof off a handful of times. Strange cos I drove my Elise roof off most of the time, but for some reason I haven't really missed the wind in the hair thing. Mind you, now I have a Larini exhaust it may have to come off more often

Yes as the intercooler is in the driverside side scoop

Is it a similar size as the 240r intercooler?? Does the 240r only take air from the roof scoop?
