Just bid on a hard top, going at £250.00 wasn't convinced I wanted it but at that price I was gonna take it.

The auction was ending in less than 40 mins, and I stuck my bid in.

Checked after 30 mins, still only me, with a couple of mins to go I thought I would raise my maximum bid, just in-case.

I was watching and refreshing, 10 sec still me, hit refresh, 4 secs to go NOT highest bidder, by the time I hit in a higher amount the auction has ended.

Now I'm raging!!!

And I wasn't sure I wanted it!!

Was it anyone on here that won it then??

That's the problem with E bay now, there are programmes out there which are designed to outbid people set by other e bayers, they set there maximum and it makes sure it puts in the last bid!

The only positive side about this is that the prices won't be going up like mad

I have to admit i use the sniping tactic.

Basically i put the maximum bid the most i want to pay and if i miss out then you'll probably find it cheaper elsewhere.

Bidded a max of 25 each for little britain tickets and got outbid,eventually got them for 20 instead for better seats.

was at little britain last sunday........ brilliant!
