In Edinburgh.......

Anyone know anywhere in Edinburgh that can treat S2 alloys?

Looking a bit old and faded wouldn't mind getting them dipped to look nice and new again!!!!!

I had my old corrado wheels done there and the y came back grey instead of silver... Not sure I'd go back if I'm honest.

That was just one instance though maybe their other work has been better??

Trouble with poweder coating is that it comes out more of a "metallic grey" than than a bright shiny silver.

If your alloys are corroded - you need to powder coat them first & then get them wet painted.

Where as if they just need a wee freshen up - kerb marks cataloyed etc.
Just get them wet painted / sprayed.
Spray painters charge about £50 a wheel - which is about the same as powder coating but a better result.

Best result is to do both - but you are looking at £75 a wheel !

Two negatives make a positive but only in Scotland do two positives make a negative - 'Aye right.'
