Do they check the pics before sending them out to verify the speed?
I got flashed on the A90 around 5:30 this afternoon but I was doing exactly 70mph (according to the Mini's digital speedo, which I know reads 2-3mph over) in a 70 limit so I know for certain I wasn't speeding. I assume it was set off by a car on the other side of the road I just can't be bothered with the hassle of having to prove I wasn't speeding so I'd rather nothing comes through the post.

they check the speed using the little white lines on the road before issueing the penalty if memory serves me correctly

One or two of the cameras on the other side of the A90 between Aberdeen and Dundee used to flash if I was above the limit, but they don't any more.

Whatever happened, if you were doing 70 you should hear nothing.

ps AndyG's favourite trick on the way back from Cadwell was to time it so that we set off the cameras on the other side of the A68 single carriageway just as a car was passing them.

Should be fine....err I mean ok......the picture should identify the car targeted by the radar/laser......
Was there cars going the other way?
My mates love doing what tut describes to waste film/memory in the cameras.
