possible new car
As I will be getting rid of my 7 series in a few months and after a very long search and having looked at just about every car out there, new and second hand, I want one of these. Picking one up tomorrow morning for a 24hr test drive, the 2 litre petrol would be the one I would buy.
I was thinking about getting rid of both my 7 and Elise and getting something really silly and expensive, but for the first time in my life common sense has got the better of me as I will be buying another house in a few months. So I will keep the Elise as a toy and get one of these for daily use:

a huge step back-wards compared to the 7 series (£20k compared to £52k) but it's different enough for it not to matter.
I will put it through my business on a 3 year fully maintained contract hire, around £1k up front and then around £350 per month over 35 months. Everything is included, road tax, servicing, AA cover, tyres, brakes, exhaust etc etc.

Black with sand leather, window tints and big alloys.

(the big allows will cause tramlining and make the ride a bit harder but so what!)
Mair throttle, less brake

aye, will definitely be looking for another in Stocky
I was happy for years living in a cheapish (for Stockbridge anyway) house and spending a large part of my income on cars, then my girlfriend moved in and 'prioritys' have changed (apparently
)
still tempted to get something silly (I could even sell the other house I own in Linlithgow and get something REALLY silly
)

Leave it with me and should be able to get back to you this evening/tomorrow, but should be able to get you a good price on those, and might throw in a few wildcards!David Bryce wrote:yes please, could you quote me for around 10K miles p/a over either 2 or 3 years , maintained and non-maintained on:
Alfa Romeo GT 2.0 JTS Lusso
Alfa Romeo 159 2.2 JTS TI (or Lusso)
and just out of interest, BMW 730se
unless you can think of any 'no-brainer' deals that you can do?
thanks in advance
Cheers,
Dave
