Evening all,
Lorna's birthday coming up and I wanna treat her to a couple of nights away in a decent, relaxing hotel

. Any recommendations?
Don't care where in Scotland it is and if there's any decent roads on the way there/nearby that's a bonus
cheers

Enjoyed the Balmoral in Edinbuggers - but one of many options you have - we're spoilt in Scotland :
Boath House (not been) ?
Balquhidder Hotel - great roads /v relaxing....
Skye : Eilean Aiarmain (sp ?) / Kinloch Lodge / 3 Chimneys

If you really want luxury, look at Glenapp Castle, South Ayrshire - can strongly recommend.

Just seen Dominic's link above - from that add Knockinaam Lodge - but avoid Crinan Hotel.

Never stayed in it, but been to it a few times. Looks very nice, and quite exclusive.
