IMS Technical Analyst (Infrastructure)

Duties and responsibilities specific to role include:

Technical problem solving
Providing escalated technical support
Preparing detailed technical specifications for identified requirements
Developing and implementing technical solutions
Undertaking authorised technical research and development




IMS Generic Responsibilities include:

Undertaking allocated duties in compliance with Group IMS work
instructions and methods of work
For significant repetitive tasks preparing clear, logical work
instructions to be followed by the IMS Group
Understanding and promoting the use of Acergy's Information Management
Services
Identifying opportunities for improvements to Information Management
Services
Ensuring all requests received are logged and owned by a member of the
IMS Group




The successful candidate will have:

At least 3 years' experience of Infrastructure design, implementation
and support based on Windows 2000/2003/XP family and/or Cisco
networking. (MCSE / MCSA / CCNA) qualification is desirable.
Good working knowledge of the following products / systems / services:
Active Directory, DNS, WINS, DHCP, VPN, PIX Firewall, VOIP based on
Cisco's products, Routing protocols, VLANS, CITRIX
Previous formal training on computing systems and communication systems
is essential.
