I drove down south on Friday and went cross country for the most part - the road between Selkirk and Moffat that goes along past St Mary's Lake is absolutely amazing!
anyone else know this road? Couldn't recommend it highly enough - well worth the jaunt.

Does your car have an airbag and the new dashboard from the US Elise?

Yeah, that's definitely the airbag dash. It's the super touring pack. Vent openings are in different place I think and speaker on top of dash.
St. Mary's Loch road is fantastic. Think it was voted best drivers road in Britain once!

I've been there, great road. I went when the peaks were covered in snow, and yes we drove up (behind where the pic was taken) to have a look.

Hi there ,
Yeah it's the super touring dash with airbags.
There are 2 speaker up on top and there are 4 vents are on the dash facing you. Also the stereo is right in the middle instead of over to the left...
But I don't have the black speedo and rev counter display which I think are on the 2008 model.
I know some people don't like the airbag dash and think that it's against the Lotus ethos or something, but we just felt like it was a safety feature that is worth having...

*mmmm front speakers*
I'm still dreaming of a good car with front speakers, my history of Minis and now the Elise seems to somewhat restrict speaker fitting positions!
My Mini has an airbag, having driven it for around 5 years, i'm still not sure I like the idea of explosives right infront of your face though!
