Pleasant surprise

I visited Tut at the weekend and in passing, I mentioned that my S1 Elise was originally from B&C. Tut suggested that we have peek at the ECU to check for mods - there was a B&C warranty sticker on it and upon looking inside we saw a daughter board attached. (I also have a non standard, stainless, loud exhaust with rolled ends)

I contacted B&C today and right enough, the car seems to be a B&C 140 which is a bit of a bonus considering yesterday I thought I had a standard 118. :D

Cheers to Tut

Pleased to see that they confirmed it Chris.

The original N1 TUT was a B&C 140, and although the conversion only consisted of a BBR Interceptor 2000 ECU and a B&C exhaust system, which cost an extra £1750 on top of the new price, she certainly had a good edge on most of the other Elises at KH at that time.

Some of the old timers may remember that it was one of the best sounding exhausts that we had heard.
